今年何をしたのか、何ができたのか、年の瀬はそういうことを考えさせる貴重な時間だ。普段から心掛けていれば年の瀬など関係ないのだろう。基礎がなければ何を重ねようとも積み上がらないことは確かである。だから、急がば回れでやっている。体力のあるうちに紙類を片付けるのが来年の目標になる。今年は語学をしながら読書は哲学へと向かっていった。来年は死と向き合うための哲学へと傾斜していくことだろう。
新年に願いを込めて、Tennysonの詩を朗読してまた一年を終える。
